Dr. Liang Vincent WANG is a Senior Manager in XPERI Corp, DTS Inc. He received his B.Eng degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China and PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. From Jan 2009 to Oct 2011, he was a research staff with School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He joined DTS Inc in 2011 Nov, when the DTS Singapore Technology Centre was opened. Dr. Wang has published in the top journals, conferences, holds WO patent in the field and partipated in Industry Standards workgroup. He is a senior member of IEEE, serving/served as Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, Technical Committee vice chair in IEEE CTSoc Audio/Video Systems and Signal Processing and APSIPA. With the Singapore chapter, he has been serving as sectary, vice chair, chair with the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society.

2003年取得西安交通大学电子与信息工程学士学位后赴新加坡南洋理工大学攻读硕士博士学位。2010年完成博士学业后在南洋理工大学继续研究工作。2011年加入美国DTS公司新加坡科技中心,现任消费电子音频系统研发高级经理。
王靓博士为高级IEEE会员,曾任IEEE消费电子杂志副主编,现任IEEE Trans on Consumer Electronics副主编,现/曾任国际IEEE消费电子学会音视频系统技术委员会副主席,APSIPA音频研究技术委员会委员,新加坡IEEE消费电子学会分会秘书/副主席/主席。西安交通大学新加坡校友会顾问。
自2008年起担任IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, Trans. on Audio Speech and Language Processing, Journal of Sound and Vibration Audio Engineering Society,等多个国际著名期刊及会议的副主编, 审稿人;至今已在IEEE Trans. on Audio Speech and Language Processing; Journal of Sound and Vibration; IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing 等国际著名期刊和会议上发表相关研究论文共10余篇,参与多项业界领先音频算法研发及实现,行业标准化工作。并协助指导国内外多个知名消费电子及汽车公司音频解决方案。其主持开发的系统已获得国际专利。

Research Interests: Audio & speech signal processing, 3D audio and multimedia audio applications, consumer electronics, adaptive filtering, array signal processing and beamforming, machine learning in audio applications.

Work Experience:

• Sept 2022 – present: Senior Manager – Mobile Audio, XPERI Corp, DTS Inc, Singapore Technology Center.

• Jan. 2019 ‐ Aug 2022: Staff Engineer, Team Manager – Mobile Audio, XPERI Corp, DTS Inc, Singapore Technology Center.

Leads a team of engineers to integrate, develop audio processing technologies and tools for consumer electronics companies, focusing on mobile, laptop, gaming headphone, etc.

Work with product team to review and provide technical solutions for new product/feature implementation.

DTS:X Headphone algorithm and program upgrade from version 2 to version 4.
